Seek Divine Wisdom 🤍

We live in a world overflowing with opinions, advice, influence and endless information that it becomes easy to get lost in the noise. Social media influencers, self-help books, and even well-meaning friends often offer their perspectives on how we should live, what success looks like, or how to find happiness. But amid this flood of worldly wisdom, we must ask ourselves: Are we seeking truth from the right source?

This week as I was praying and studying my scriptures, I opened to Proverbs chapter 2 where it says, “The Lord giveth wisdom, knowledge, and understanding–Walk-in the way of good men.”

It also said “My child if thou wilt receive my words, and hide my commandments with thee;

So that thou incline thine ear unto wisdom, and apply thine heart to understanding; 💛

Yea, if thou criest after knowledge, and liftest up thy voice for understanding;

If thou seekest wisdom as silver, and searchest for her as for hid treasures;

Then shalt thou understand the fear of the Lord, and find the knowledge of God.

For the Lord giveth wisdom: out of his mouth cometh knowledge and understanding.

He layeth up sound wisdom for the righteous: he is a buckler to them that walk uprightly.

He keepeth the paths of judgment, and preserveth the way of his saints.

Then shalt thou understand righteousness, and judgment, and equity; yea, every good path.

When wisdom entereth into thine heart, and knowledge is pleasant unto thy soul;

Discretion shall preserve thee, understanding shall keep thee.

And then in chapter 3 He tells us

“Trust in the Lord with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding.

In all thy ways acknowledge him, and he shall direct thy paths.” ❤️

Reading those words this week felt like they went straight to my heart and soul. I felt like I want to strive more from now on to seek more true wisdom for my soul. I felt that I need to stop listening to all the stuff on social media, the internet, people’s opinions etc. AND JUST GO DIRECTLY TO THE SOURCE OF ALL WISDOM. 🤍

So, that’s precisely what I did. I offered a prayer asking God to help me find wisdom and to help me hear exactly what He wanted me to hear or what He had for me this week.

I felt myself fully believing the words I had just read. I knew that as His child, He would provide the wisdom that I need using this time and after waiting a little while after I prayed, I had an incredible experience! I heard Him speaking directly to me! I felt it in my heart and mind and I heard Him say “Hi my daughter! 🥲 & I instantly started to cry at the thought of knowing that I had just heard His voice say that to me and fill me with His love and Joy of hearing from me at the same time. 😭 I felt that He does know me!?! There’s no way I can deny what my soul heard and felt. The inspiration and wisdom that came to me after that prayer was AMAZING! So much inspiration and wisdom poured into my heart, mind and souls that I wanted to remember it all. This experience is something that I’ll never forget. 🥹

Some of the inspiration and WISDOM that I received was exactly what I needed to hear. It’s very personal and it made my heart and soul feel so much of God’s love and His light that it’s hard to describe.

But I do want to share one of the most important pieces of wisdom that I got from Him, in the hopes that it’s a blessing to you too. That piece of wisdom is, that He told me to be more aware of the distractions that surround me. More specifically, MY PHONE. 😬

I felt that this device tricks us into making us feel that we’re so productive, so “wise” etc…when in reality it’s STEALING OUR DAYS in distraction, we’re by all that we see and watch and sometimes it’s not very good. This little time consuming computer that we carry with us all the time is keeping us less present on what is really happening in front of us with our families, friends etc.

I know that God gave my this wisdom because even though there’s also a lot of good that my phone can provide it’s also stealing from the people and my present surroundings that need my attention. I even felt that God wants me to read my scriptures directly from a book again and not from a creen. 😳 So, I’m now trying to read my paper scriptures again. 🙂 I know that there’s wisdom in that! The notifications and distractions on our phone are keeping us away from strengthening our relationship with god as well as stealing the present moments from us. & we need to do something about it. 💪🏼

If I am going to use my phone I want to make sure that it’s with a good purpose for my mind and heart.

Moroni 7 says: But behold, that which is of God inviteth and enticeth to do good continually; wherefore, every thing which inviteth and enticeth to do good, and to love God, and to serve him, is inspired of God.

My reason for sharing this with you, is that this wasn’t the only wisdom that I received from Him. God instructed me this week in amazing ways with what my soul needed to hear.

I offered one prayer. I set aside some time amidst all of the other things in my to do list, to just sit outside, read wisdom from the word of God and ASK THE SOURCE DIRECTLY. 🥹❤️

I promise you that just as He showed me, He will show you the wisdom that your soul needs. Just go to Him and see for yourself what an amazing and loving God is willing to show you and bring to mind and heart. We just have to be willing to believe Him and to just listen and be in the moment with Him. 🙏🏼

I hope that this message allows you to feel that there’s a loving God who is longing to hear from you. He wants to say hi to you! He wants to hear how you’re feeling and He is ready to give you wisdom if you seek Him and ask Him. 🥲

I pray that you’ll gain a stronger desire to set aside the distractions of the world and to be more present and in the moment. Leave your phone somewhere else and turn off the tv and the devices and just be in the moment a little more. It’s in those quiet moments when we can feel God the most. That is one of the best amongst other treasures of wisdom that I’ve gained this week and I hope that you can feel a stronger desire for yourself to go directly to the source as well. ❤️

True wisdom doesn’t come from the world. It comes from God. In every season of our lives, whether we’re making big decisions or navigating everyday choices, we need His guidance.

Let us not waste time chasing answers in all the wrong places. Let us go to our Heavenly Father in prayer, seek the influence of the Holy Ghost, and receive the personal revelation we need to walk the path He has prepared for us.

As we do so, we will find not only direction but peace, power, and purpose.

“If any of you lack wisdom, let him ask of God … and it shall be given him” (James 1:5). ❤️

That promise remains true—for you, for me, for all of us who are willing to seek the Source.

Hope that you can make it to class tonight at 7pm to strengthen yourself physically, mentally and spiritually. 🥰💖🙏🏼

Love,

Lili 🌸
