Wisdom In Every Footstep 🔆

This week I have felt impressed to think about wisdom. Every time I opened my scriptures this week, I read about wisdom. I love those moments when God speaks to us through His words and it feels like it’s exactly what we’re meant to hear.

As I thought about wisdom this week, I realized how easily influenced we are by the world around us. The world is constantly shouting and throwing its opinions at us. The “wisdom” of the world isn’t always the wisdom that comes from God. We become consumed by what we watch, read, and listen to. But is there always wisdom in that? Sadly, we tend to think that wisdom can only come from knowledgeable people, and we forget that we ourselves are fully capable of recognizing and receiving wisdom. The wisdom that God wants to provide is meant for each step of our lives.

The question is: are we willing to disconnect from our phones and distractions, and be willing to just stop, listen, and seek higher wisdom for our lives? Are we willing to hear what God has for us—and most importantly, are we willing to act on the impressions and inspiration we receive?

How amazing that we have a God who is willing to listen to us, to be our friend, and who is ready to help us. God truly wants each one of us to seek His wisdom and not the wisdom of the world. Think about how incredible it would feel to hear and feel God directly guiding YOU! ❤️

In Proverbs 4:1 He tells us: “Hear, ye children, the instruction of a father, and attend to know understanding.”

In Proverbs 2:1–11 He tells us:

1 My son (or daughter), if thou wilt receive my words, and hide my commandments with thee;

2 So that thou incline thine ear unto wisdom, and apply thine heart to understanding;

3 Yea, if thou criest after knowledge, and liftest up thy voice for understanding;

4 If thou seekest her as silver, and searchest for her as for hid treasures;

5 Then shalt thou understand the fear of the Lord, and find the knowledge of God.

6 For the Lord giveth wisdom: out of his mouth cometh knowledge and understanding.

7 He layeth up sound wisdom for the righteous: he is a buckler to them that walk uprightly.

8 He keepeth the paths of judgment, and preserveth the way of his saints.

9 Then shalt thou understand righteousness, and judgment, and equity; yea, every good path.

10 When wisdom entereth into thine heart, and knowledge is pleasant unto thy soul;

God wants us to remember how important it is to gain wisdom and understanding for ourselves! He wants to provide and fill us with understanding during our challenges and difficulties, and to help us gain wisdom one step at a time.

As you think about your life today, take a moment to ponder where you’re “stepping.” Do you feel like you’re headed in the right direction? Do you need more light on your path? More wisdom? 🤍

Trust that God is ready to give you the wisdom you need. In James 1:5 He tells us: “If any of you lack wisdom, let him ask of God, that giveth to all men liberally, and upbraideth not; and it shall be given him.”

When we come to God and ask in faith, believing in Him, we will see that He does provide wisdom directly to us. We don’t need technology or the world to tell us what to do when our hearts can feel directly from God what is wise. Through wisdom we gain understanding, and through understanding we create the action necessary to go and do what God is telling us. ❤️

Our invitation for today is to seek wisdom directly from God. Set aside some time to go outside and be in nature for a moment. Breathe and be present. Turn the world off and turn your heart, mind, and soul to God in prayer and faith, asking Him to provide you with the wisdom you need for today or for your next step. Then just listen to the feelings of your heart. That peace and that love you’ll feel will come directly from Him. He will speak to your soul, and you’ll gain your own wisdom directly from God! How amazing is that?!?! Nothing in the world can bring more happiness than knowing there’s a God who LOVES YOU, IS LISTENING, and IS WILLING TO GIVE YOU WHAT YOU NEED. 💛

Hope you can make it to class tonight at 7:00pm to come together, release stress, strengthen ourselves, and have an amazing meditation focused on receiving wisdom. 🥰

Let’s do this! Love you all and hope to see you there!

Love,

Lili 🌸
