The world around us can feel heavy, uncertain, loud, and chaotic. It’s heartbreaking to watch the news and see all the commotion and division—not only in our country, but throughout the entire world.
We often forget that we live in a beautiful world that God created for us. Our time on this earth is short, and while we are here, our focus should be on leaving it better than we found it. We should strive to live lives that radiate peace, love, faith, compassion, and light—adding goodness to the lives of those around us and leaving the world a little bit better because we were here. 💛
When our hearts feel heavy, we have the choice of filling it with more of the voices of the world, or to come to God. This morning, I chose to make time to be alone with God. As I prayed while I asked God to bring comfort to my heavy heart. I sat outside and found myself drawn to the trees, the water, the sun, the birds, and the sky. I asked God to give me the peace my soul needed. And I felt His words come into my heart saying:
“Peace I leave with you, my peace I give unto you: not as the world giveth, give I unto you.
Let not your heart be troubled, neither let it be afraid.” (John 14:27)
Instantly, tears came to my eyes. I thanked God for reminding me that my peace will not come from the world—it will come from HIM. ♥️ He reminded me not to let my heart be troubled or afraid, but to remember His promise:
“These things I have spoken unto you, that in me ye might have peace.
In the world ye shall have tribulation: but be of good cheer; I have overcome the world.” (John 16:33)
In times like these, peace may feel hard to find. But that is when we must come to Christ, making time to be still and alone with Him, so we can truly experience the peace that only God can give directly to our souls. Today, I was reminded again to turn off the voices of the world and to listen to God’s voice instead. 🥹
So, if you are feeling like me today, I invite you to quiet the noise of the world and focus on listening to God. His words and the personal communication you have with Him will heal you far more deeply than anything else.
The scriptures teach us that in the last days, “men’s hearts shall fail them,” and that “all things shall be in commotion,” and fear will come upon all of us. But we can be prepared if we protect our minds, hearts, and souls by filling them with God’s word, keeping His commandments, seeking forgiveness, and turning our actions toward what He would have us do. ❤️ As children of God, we are all called to be loving, kind, and to be true peacemakers. 🌎 When we live this way, we carry the light of God to others and that peace that surpasses all understanding in our hearts will be felt by those around us. 💛
I hope you can experience this peace for yourself. The problems may not be taken away. The world may continue to be in commotion :(…But I promise that as you quiet your heart and mind, God will provide you with the same peace He has given me today. The peace that surpasses anything the world can offer! I am so grateful for the reminder of His love—for me and for all of us as His children. 💖 God wants us to radiate love and peace toward others, not use our precious time on this earth creating contention etc. Instead we want to create in our hearts and souls a resting place for His peace to dwell. To dwell within us, to dwell in our homes and in any place where we may be.
Let us protect the peace that our Creator gives us—not the fragile peace the world offers, but the eternal peace that comes only through knowing that we have God’s presence in our lives. 🤍
❤️ This week, our goal is to turn off the voices of the world and focus on listening to God’s voice.
So, take a moment to let Christ comfort your heavy heart. Let Him be the voice you listen to today. Let Him speak peace to your heart and mind. His Spirit may whisper softly, it’s not a loud voice but it will pierce your heart and guide you. Let Him tell you what you need to hear. Let Him forgive your mistakes and heal the places in your heart where love has been lacking.
Allow Him to bless you with strength and to be with you in your inner oasis. đź’› Let His love, His peace, and His blessings renew you.
Remember—God wants you present in this very moment, grateful for the breath that you have today. Ask Him to help you focus on the beauty of His creations, to strengthen your relationships, and to fill your heart, mind, and soul with peace, health, strength, and love. 💛 In return, you will be able to lift and bring light to others as well. 💞
I pray that your heart will be comforted today, as mine was. I pray that you will hear God’s words as He promises you His peace. Focus on the good, on your blessings, on how you can bless others and on guarding your inner peace through Christ as you strive to be the peacemaker He needs us to be. God knows what is in your heart, and He will help you as you come to Him. Take it one moment at a time. Find peace in this moment, right here and now. and continue to invite peace and to flow in it from one moment to the next. 💛
Tonight in class, we will release stress and strengthen ourselves physically, mentally, and spiritually. Our meditation will be focused on inner peace. Can’t wait to do this for ourselves. I hope you’ll join us and feel the difference. See you at 7pm! 💖🥰
With love,
Lili 🌸
