Faith Over Fear 💖

Life is unpredictable. No matter how hard we try to plan and prepare, challenges arise that test our faith and fill us with fear and stress. We worry about the future, our families, our responsibilities, and the unknown. These burdens can sometimes feel overwhelming, making peace seem out of reach.

But the Savior invites us to take a different path. He pleads with us:

“Come unto me, all ye that labour and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest.” (Matthew 11:28)

What a beautiful promise that the Lord makes when we choose to trust Him. That doesn’t mean our trials will disappear overnight, but it does mean that we won’t have to carry them alone & He will help us.

When Peter had enough faith to walk on water toward Jesus, he did something incredible! But the moment he took his eyes off the Savior and focused on the storm, he began to sink. (Matthew 14:28–31). The same thing happens to us. If we focus on our fears, we will feel like we’re drowning in stress, anxiety, etc. But if we fix our eyes on Christ, we will find the strength to move forward. We are capable of shifting our focus to Christ no matter what we’re going through. It requires strength but we can choose faith over fear and feel the difference.

So how can we practice and strengthen our mind and soul to choose faith rather than fear?

1. Pray with Real Intent; Instead of letting fear dominate our thoughts, we can pour our hearts out to the Lord. He knows our struggles and stands ready to help us. When we replace anxious thoughts with heartfelt prayers, we invite peace into our lives.

2. Fill Your Mind with His Words; Fear thrives in the absence of faith. Immersing ourselves in the scriptures, in the words of God builds spiritual confidence and pushes out doubt. When we read about God’s faithfulness to His children, we remember that He will also be faithful to us.

3. Turn Worry into Worship; Rather than dwelling on what we can’t control, we can focus on what we can. On inviting positive thoughts, serving others, expressing gratitude, and deepening our relationship with Christ. When we choose to worship instead of worry, our perspective shifts from fear to trust.

4. Trust the Lord’s Timing; Fear often comes when we don’t see immediate solutions. But faith reminds us that God is never late. He is working in our lives, even when we don’t see it. Trusting His timing allows us to let go of stress and lean into His plan. Also, remember that fear is not an emotion that comes from God. He’s the giver of peace, love and strength. When we can recognize that, we can let go of the fear and trust that God’s timing will come at the perfect time. 👌

5. Take Action in Faith; Recognize that FEAR PARALYZES AND FAITH EMPOWERS. When we act in faith- whether by making a difficult decision, stepping outside our comfort zones, or simply choosing to believe that God is with us—we prove that we trust Him. And He always blesses those who move forward in faith.

The Lord has told us on John 14:27

Peace I leave with you, my peace I give unto you: not as the world giveth, give I unto you. Let not your heart be troubled, neither let it be afraid.

Jesus Christ is the Prince of Peace. When we turn to Him, He replaces our fear with faith and our stress with serenity and peace. As we let go of our burdens and trust in Him, we will find the rest He has promised.

So today, whatever is weighing on your heart, take it to the Savior. Lay it at His feet. Allow yourself to be empowered by your faith in Christ instead of being paralyzed by fear which is what the enemy wants. Allow yourself to be the PROTECTOR of your mind. Choose thoughts that uplift you and help you. Be kind to yourself and others. FOCUS ON THE GOOD! 😉 on your blessings, on all that you’re blessed to have today. Take a moment to breathe and be present. Most importantly, remember that God loves you, and He will guide you through and be by your side to help you one day at a time.

Trust Him when He says “Be still, and know that I am God.” (Psalm 46:10)

Let go. Trust Him. And find peace.

Unfortunately class is canceled tonight. But still keep your habits of doing something good for your body, mind and spirit. We will resume again next week. 🙂

I pray that this message helps you to gain greater trust in Christ, feel HIS LOVE & know that He has a perfect plan for YOU. 💖

The Love Of God ❤️

How’s your love gauge today?

Do you feel heavy—burdened, stressed by all the world throws at us? Or do you feel peaceful and connected to God’s divine love?

Wherever you are, I’d like to invite you to pause for just a few minutes. Take a few deep breaths. Cover your ears if you need to—shut out the noise of the world—and intentionally turn your heart toward God. 💛

Open your heart to Him. Let it all out. Ask Him to help you feel peace. I promise that His light and divine love can calm your troubled heart and bring peace to your mind and soul. He will allow you to feel His love as you invite Him to be with you right now. 💖

The more disconnected we are from God, the harder it becomes to feel His love, His peace, and the inspiration He has waiting for us. Notice how the world pulls at us. It tells us we need more money, better looks, more followers, more achievements “to be of worth.” So much of our energy is spent chasing these things. Some people spend their entire lives searching for “more,” hoping it will finally make them feel enough.

I truly believe this is one of Satan’s greatest lies—to keep us focused on materialism, pride, and vanity so we forget who we really are.

God, on the other hand, teaches something very different. He invites us not to cling or be attached to the temporary things of this world, but to nurture the one thing we will take with us when we leave this earth—our spirit.

When we make time daily to check in spiritually and come to Him, we begin to realize that we don’t need to be attached to what will one day fade away. We begin to center our lives on what is eternal.

God’s love is not just something we believe in—it is something we experience. We see it in tender mercies, in answered prayers, in nature. We feel it in moments of unexpected peace. We recognize it in the strength that carries us when we thought we had none left.

The scriptures remind us:

“I have loved thee with an everlasting love: therefore with lovingkindness have I drawn thee.”Jeremiah 31:3

Everlasting means it did not begin when we finally “got it right,” and it will not end when we stumble. His love precedes us. His love sustains us.

There is nothing in this world that will bring more joy to a soul than truly knowing God and having a relationship with Him. No amount of money or achievement can replace the peace of a soul who comes to know God and knows that He loves each one of us individually.

During our hardest challenges—and even at the end of our lives—the knowledge that we know Him and He knows us is what will bring true peace.

So today, check in at a soul level. Ask yourself: What can I gently release? What am I holding onto that pulls me away from God?

Come to Him in prayer. Let Him guide you. He has a beautiful plan for your life. He has answers to your deepest questions and understands the desires of your heart. Hear Him—and act on what you feel. His love is always there. We simply choose whether or not to draw near. 💛

As we begin to truly feel God’s love, we realize something beautiful: His love isn’t meant to stop with us. It is meant to flow through us.

Jesus taught:

“By this shall all men know that ye are my disciples, if ye have love one to another.” John 13:35

To love others is to reflect Him.

We all have difficult people and situations in our lives. Sometimes we simply need to pause, take a few deep breaths, and ask God to help us see the person or circumstance in a way that brings healing. ❤️‍🩹

We can choose patience over pride. Kindness over criticism. Forgiveness over offense. Little by little, we learn to walk with Christ—and others begin to feel His love through us.

To know Jesus Christ is more than knowing about Him. It is walking with Him daily. It is speaking with Him in prayer. It is opening the scriptures not out of obligation, but from a sincere desire to hear His voice. It is asking, “Lord, who do You need me to become today?”

The Savior Himself said:

“Draw near unto me and I will draw near unto you.” Doctrine and Covenants 88:63

Notice the invitation: draw near. This is daily. It is intentional. It builds our relationship with Christ and He promises to draw near to us. 💛

As we come to know Christ personally, something beautiful happens. Our fears soften. Our perspective shifts. Our love expands. We begin to see ourselves—and others—the way He does: with compassion, hope, and eternal vision.

Just know this: God is here for you. His love is woven into your everyday life. Look for it and you’ll see it.

🌱Our Spiritual Goal for This Week is:

Spend 10 intentional minutes each day coming to know Christ. Read a few verses from the New Testament or other scriptures and ask yourself:

“What does this teach me about who He is?”

Write one sentence each day about what you learn.

💛 Physical Goal for This Week:

Move your body with gratitude at least four times this week. walk, stretch, strength train, dance—anything that feels life-giving. As you move, thank God for one specific thing your body allows you to do.

When we honor both our spirit and our body, we align ourselves more fully with the God who created both. 🥹❤️

I hope you can make it to class tonight at 7pm!!! Our goal is to release stress, strengthen our body, and have an amazing Christ-centered meditation that will leave us feeling true peace and joy. Hope that you can make it and invite others to benefit as well.

Just remember:

❤️ You are loved.

💛 You are seen.

🤍 & He is nearer than you think.

Love,

Lili 🌸

Inner Peace keeper 💛

With everything happening in our world and the many challenges we each face, it’s easy to let the chaos increase our emotional stress, fear, and anxiety. Our peace is constantly being attacked. You can feel it all around us. We can either choose to focus on the bad that surrounds us or focus on the good.

This week I’ve felt a stronger desire to want to disconnected from the news, social media, entertainment and all of the constant voices on the world/internet. As time passes, we see more and more people addicted to these devices. You can see couples and families at restaurants just looking down at their phones. We’re filling our eyes, mind and heart with who knows what? & we’re more and more disconnected to the people that are actually in front of us. 🙁

Research lately has shown that addictions—and the ways we try to “numb” our emotions—are steadily increasing.

Have you noticed how much harder it seems for people to control their thoughts, emotions, and reactions? Sadly, we are becoming a society that is more disconnected, less present, more divided, and dependent on outside things for comfort. We numb emotional pain with distractions and forget how to slow down, breathe, and quiet our minds and hearts and juts be in the moment.

Think about what you tend to reach for when you’re trying to “feel better”: food, your phone, TV, entertainment, shopping, social media, substances, or other habits that may seem harmless at first. Over time, these things can become emotional crutches. They begin to control us. We lose our ability to truly regulate our inner peace. We forget to listen to ourselves—and most importantly, to turn to God for help.

When we recognize the ways we rely on outside sources for peace, we can begin to examine those habits and gradually release them. Often, we don’t even realize how much control they have over our emotions. The more we reach outward for comfort, the more our inner light begins to dim. We become reactive, impatient, and uneasy—hurting not only ourselves but also those around us.

Remember: the enemy of our souls wants all of us to be dependent on outside things. He wants to distract and spiritually distance ourselves from God. He whispers that it’s too uncomfortable to sit with our feelings or look within—but that discomfort is often where healing begins. If he can keep us from processing our emotions, feeling peace, and speaking with our Father in Heaven, he can keep us from finding the joy that God can bring.

But God, our loving Father in Heaven, invites us to rise above that. He asks us to turn to Him. He reminds us that we are His children—with divine access to His power, light, and peace. True and lasting peace does not come from the world or the things of the world. It comes from God. He can give us peace in abundance, even in the middle of life’s storms. When we trust Him, we can remain calm, faithful, and steady—no matter what comes.

This week, I encourage you to look a little deeper within yourself. It may feel uncomfortable at first. You may feel tempted to reach for your phone, turn on the TV, or distract yourself. Instead, try sitting still for a moment and simply feel your feelings. Check internally with yourself and see how you can better help yourself to live present and more peaceful today.

When something triggers you, pause. Take a slow breath. Close your eyes if it helps. Notice what is happening inside you. Observe your thoughts and emotions without judgment. Then invite divine light into your heart. Ask God to fill you with His love, strength, and peace. Imagine His power flowing gently into your heart and mind. 💛

There is nothing that compares to the sacred, divine peace that comes directly from God. Just focus on feeling and inviting God’s love, light and words.

If you’d like, write down any impressions or guidance He places in your heart. The more open you are to receiving, the more clearly you will recognize His voice.

Take time to notice the things you use to numb emotional discomfort. Ask yourself:

• What steals my peace?

• What do I reach for when I feel angry, stressed, or anxious?

• Do those things bring lasting peace—or do they leave me feeling empty?

These are sacred questions. Getting to know ourselves is part of spiritual growth. We are meant to become protectors of our peace. When we recognize what is happening inside us, we can consciously invite goodness in and more easily release negativity.

So I invite you to practice breathing, feeling, and connecting with God whenever you notice inner chaos. Give yourself grace and compassion. Be proud of your courage to look within—without needing something external to soothe you. Reach for the true Giver of Peace and allow Him to calm your heart and restore your soul.

Set a goal this week to become the keeper of your inner peace. In quiet moments, connect with the divine source of peace and love—our Heavenly Father. Ask Him to help you focus on your inner light instead of the world’s distractions. As you practice, you will feel stronger, calmer, and more centered each day.

Allow yourself to feel the strength of being the protector of your inner peace. 💪🏼💛 Be ready to TURN OFF the distractions that try to numb you and make you feel worse. Try to rise above and focus on Christs peace instead.

Remember the Savior’s words in John 14:27:

“Peace I leave with you, my peace I give unto you: not as the world giveth, give I unto you. Let not your heart be troubled, neither let it be afraid.”

Whatever is troubling you today—fear, stress, or sadness—pause and sit with those feelings. Breathe. Notice where they show up in your body. Then gently say:

“I invite the peace of God to be with me—to heal me, strengthen me, and remind me of my divine light. I am a child of God. I choose peace.”

Feel His calmness surround you. God can replace anxiety with assurance and fill your heart with light and love. There is no greater healing than inviting His presence into your life.

Trust Him. He is the Prince of Peace, the Giver of all that is good, and the source of love and light. He will strengthen, lift, and comfort you each day.

Our spiritual goal this week:

To gain greater inner peace—to become protectors of our peace. To rely on God, not the world, for comfort and strength. To say:

“I choose to keep my peace centered on God, who sees me, hears me, loves me, and strengthens me. I choose light. I choose love. I choose peace.”

Our physical goal:

Exercise 2–3 times this week and nourish your body with water and wholesome, nutrient-rich foods.

I hope to see you in class tonight at 7 p.m. Make this promise to yourself—to care for your body, mind, and spirit. As we practice becoming keepers of our peace through meditation and connection with God, you will feel the difference.

With love,

Lili 🌸

Be Present Today 💖

Today, I invite you to turn off your racing mind and heart. ❤️ Stop for a moment and take some deep breaths. Remember that God has told us to take it ONE DAY AT A TIME. ☀️

It’s not good for our mind and heart to be thinking or focused on the past or on the future that we can’t control. 🙈 So, as you have a moment to breathe, gently guide your thoughts back to the present moment, notice your breath and calm your heart and mind. Just be right here right now for a moment. Simply being present throughout your day allows you to experience more peace, clarity, and joy. We just have to practice being present. 💪🏼🥰

Matthew 6:34 we read:

“Take therefore no thought for the morrow: for the morrow shall take thought for the things of itself. Sufficient unto the day is the evil thereof.”

Through these words, Jesus invites us to be present.

I believe that He wants us to be intentional about today. To CHOOSE TO SEE GOD IN THIS MOMENT AND TO INVITE HIM TO BE RIGHT HERE AND NOW.

So, open your heart for a moment to welcome God’s light into your life. Choose, with intention, not to dwell on the past or worry about the future, but instead to focus on feeling God’s love as it fills you. His light and love help you cultivate positivity and experience the deep peace and joy that can only come from His presence.

As you move through your day, notice what is around you. Express gratitude for each moment you experience. Give thanks for your blessings, no matter how small. Be open, kind, and loving toward yourself and others. Choose to see the good in those around you and intentionally invite goodness into your mind and heart from one moment to the next. What you choose to focus on, aligns you more closely with God—allowing you to flow in His light and fully enjoy the gift of today.

When you are present, a natural stillness and centeredness arises within you. You feel calmer and more grounded, better able to experience the now and to choose the energy you want to bring into this moment. Dwelling on the past or future only drains the energy available to you right now.

During times when my mind and heart start racing I try to practice by stopping what I’m doing. I close my eyes, gently cover my ears, and focus on my breath. (I call this my internal ocean or my alignment with God.) He is the one who calms my internal ocean, providing each breath as it flows in and out. I love to imagine the calming sound of the ocean as the breath comes in and out of my body. With every inhale, I choose to breathe in peace; with every exhale, release fear, stress, anxiety etc As you try this exercise and listen to and feel your breath, you are reminded to be grateful for the moment you have now. & you will feel the peace of God calming your heart and mind. 🕊️

God invites us to come to Him and to take life one day at a time—one moment at a time. We can give Him all of our worries and fears. He is not a God of fear, but a God of faith, trust, love, power, and a sound, peaceful mind and heart. He will help carry our burdens and make them lighter. Each moment is an opportunity to strengthen our connection with ourselves and with our Creator. The choice is always ours—We can choose to make each moment a moment of peace, a moment when we can pour love into ourselves and others and a moment when we can choose more loving a positive thoughts with God by our side. ❤️

Another way to include the mind in the process of being present is to practice this mindfulness exercise. As we’ve discussed in class, to involve our senses. We call this the 5-4-3-2-1 practice:

• 5 things you can see

• 4 things you can hear

• 3 things you can touch

• 2 things you can smell

• 1 thing you can taste

The more detail, the better. Engaging your senses brings your awareness into the present moment and allows you to rediscover the beauty around you—almost like seeing the world through a child’s eyes.

During moments of stress, remember the power you have to calm your mind and body. Deep breathing—allowing the breath to fill your belly—is one of the most effective ways to do this. By focusing solely on the in-breath and out-breath, you reconnect with the present moment instead of past or future scenarios. There is real power in breathing.

With everything happening around us—both externally and internally—it is more important than ever to develop tools that help us manage our thoughts, emotions, and feelings. These practices help deepen our alignment with ourselves and with God. They help us to rejoice in the gifts God gives us today.

Today we can focus on listening to our inner voice, guiding us toward gratitude and awareness. Use your breath and your senses to anchor you in each moment, letting go of intrusive thoughts and instead, find strength in the light, love, and peace that God provides—peace that surpasses all earthly understanding and brings lasting joy and comfort.

As Buddha said:

“The secret of health for both mind and body is not to mourn for the past, nor to worry about the future, but to live the present moment wisely and earnestly.”

And Leo Tolstoy reminds us:

“There is only one time that is important—NOW. It is the most important time because it is the only time we have any power.”

So today, focus your energy on the moments you can influence. Be present. Be kind. Be loving toward yourself and others—one moment at a time. Seek the wisdom God has for you today, and live knowing that He loves you and desires to help you be more present in your conversations, actions, and thoughts. The more you practice returning to the present through your breath, the more you’ll enjoy today and feel empowered over distractions and judgments. The power is here—now.

Don’t forget that the practice of being present is more spiritual than anything. If we can choose to BELIEVE IN GOD. We know that HE’S GOT THE PAST. THAT HE’ll BE THERE IN THE FUTURE AND THAT HE’S HERE RIGHT NOW WITH US. Strengthen your Faith in Him and feel the difference. ❤️🕊️🙏🏼

I hope you can join us for class tonight at 7:00 pm!! To release stress, strengthen your body, mind, and spirit, and leave feeling renewed, peaceful and filled with light for TODAY & for the rest of the week.

This week’s goals:

• Spiritual goal: Practice being more present, invite God to be with you in your thoughts. One moment at a time.

• Physical goal: Remove sugary drinks and drink more water. Also, make time to move your body daily—just 30 minutes can make a big difference physically and mentally.

Hope to see you tonight! Love you all. Remember—you are not alone. You are supported, guided, and unconditionally loved exactly as you are. God loves you and will help you through it all. Trust Him, and allow His love and peace to fill you today.

With love,

Lili 💛
