Sometimes in life we become so focused on what we are still waiting for that we forget to remember all that God has already done for us. We pray for answers, direction, healing, peace, or miracles, and when things feel uncertain it can be easy to think that He is silent. But if we pause for a moment and look back, we will often see that His hand has been present all along throughout the ups and downs of our life.
If we think back on our life’s challenges, there were moments when we thought we would not make it through, yet somehow we did. There were doors that opened unexpectedly, burdens that became lighter, strength that came at the exact moment we needed it, and blessings that could not have happened without divine help. Sometimes God’s miracles are dramatic and amazing, and I’m so thankful for the miracles I’ve clearly seen in my life. But sometimes miracles quiet and not as noticeable. Maybe it can be a feeling of peace, the right person showing up at the perfect time, protection we did not even realize we needed, or the courage to take one more step forward.
This week I read in Joshua 1: where the Lord says “Be strong and of good courage” and I thought about how that ties to us. I realized that we can be strong when we rely on the Lord. When we realize and REMEMBER the type of God that He is. How loving, kind, forgiving and amazing He is. We can be courageous in the Lord when we remember that even though we experience fear we still trust a God that is greater than our fears. A God of miracles. & that we ourselves can experience miracles in our lives today if we choose to see them. 💛
I love to remind myself that God is still a God of miracles. The same God who parted seas, healed the sick, comforted the brokenhearted, and strengthened ordinary people throughout the scriptures, is the same God who walks beside each one of us today. His power has not disappeared. His love has not changed. And His awareness of us is constant.
One of the hardest things to do is trust Him when we cannot yet see the outcome. We want clarity before faith, certainty before obedience, and answers before patience. But faith often means moving forward before everything else makes sense. It means believing that God can see what we cannot. My husband calls it Faithing it! 😉 We gottta Faith it and let the Lord do what He can for us. 💪🏼🥰❤️
As we trust Him, He will guide our path. Some doors will open perfectly and clearly, while others will close no matter how hard we try to force them. Sometimes we forget to see that the closed doors are just as much a blessing as the open ones. God does not withhold good things from us to punish us, He guides us according to His greater wisdom and a deeper love than we can fully comprehend.
Proverbs 3:5–6 says: “Trust in the Lord with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding. In all thy ways acknowledge him, and he shall direct thy paths.”
I think one of the greatest spiritual habits we can develop is remembering. Remembering the prayers He answered before. Remembering the times He carried us. Remembering how He provided when we saw no way forward. I’ll never forget the words of a dear friend of mine who always says; “Gods fingerprints are all around you. Look for the daily fingerprints in your life and it will change your world.” 🤩 Gratitude strengthens our faith because when we remember His faithfulness in the past, it becomes easier to trust Him with the future. ❤️
If you feel that you are in a season of waiting, do not lose hope. If you are praying for something that feels impossible, faith it! 😉 & keep believing. God still works in ways we cannot always see yet. Sometimes miracles happen suddenly, and sometimes they unfold little by little over time. But His timing is never wasted and all that happens will be for our good. 💖
This week, instead of focusing only on what is missing, try focusing on what God has already done. Let your heart notice the evidence of His goodness! See the fingerprints, notice the little and bigger miracles in both the big and small moments of life. For example look at the sunrise, notice the peace that you after prayer, the strength that you receive to keep going, the kindness of others, the opportunities that appeared unexpectedly, the friend that listened to you or the hug that you received…all of the these are reminders that Heaven is closer than we think.
Psalm 46:10 “Be still, and know that I am God.” I love the reminder from God that even when life circumstances feel hard, I can still choose to be still and KNOW or “Remember”the type of AMAZING GOD THAT HE IS. ❤️
Take a moment and find a quiet place for a few minutes each day this week. Sit comfortably, close your eyes, and take slow deep breaths. As you inhale, think:
“The Lord is with me.”
As you exhale, think:
“I can trust Him.”
Then gently reflect on moments in your life where you felt guided, protected, comforted, or blessed. Picture those memories clearly. Allow gratitude to fill your mind instead of fear or worry. End your quiet time by simply saying a little prayer of gratitude for all the moments He’s been there and for the moments you’ll see today.
Our Physical Goal for the Week is:
To take a daily 15-minute walk outside without music or distractions. Use that time to slow down, notice the beauty around you, and thank your father in Heaven for specific blessings in your life. Let your walk become a moment of peace, reflection, and connection with Him. 💖
Our Spiritual Goal for the Week:
Keep a small “God’s hand in my life” journal this week. Each night, write down at least one way you saw God’s love, guidance, help, or blessing during the day or his fingerprints, 😉 even if it seems small. By the end of the week, you may begin to recognize that miracles are happening around you more often than you realized.
Hope that you can make it to class tonight to release stress, strengthen yourself and leave feeling uplifted and peaceful. Love you all and hope to see you tonight at 7pm. 🥰💖🤗
Love
Lili 🌸
