Provision ❤️

This week I was sitting outside praying for a moment. I was thinking about how God must feel to hear my repetitive prayers, almost always asking for the same things. He hears my complaints and all of the things that are in my mind and heart. As i sat there for a moment I had a feeling of wanting to change my “asking” for “thanking” instead. I said a thank you prayer and had this strong feeling in my heart filling me with His love. I heard/felt Him say to me that He loves me and wants to hear all of the feelings of my heart. My prayers, my sorrows, my fears, my joys, my gratitude. 🥹💖

Why is that we sometimes worry so much about things instead of letting go of the fears and focusing instead on trusting in that loving God who loves us and wants to help us and provide for us? 💛 As soon as I had that feeling I opened my scriptures randomly and read this: Mathew 6:26: “Look at the birds of the air; they do not sow or reap or store away in barns, and yet your heavenly Father feeds them. Are you not much more valuable than they?

After reading that scripture I happened looked down at the grass and saw a little bird landing on the grass next to me. This tiny little brown bird just started eating some sort of little seeds that he found on the grass from of me. I just watched at how this little bird was eating and how it would look up toward the sky and I instantly started crying 😭 not only because I’m emotional lol..but because I felt like God was right there with ME in that very moment just teaching me. 🥹❤️🕊️

In that moment I noticed how the Lord had just provided for this little bird. He was teaching me that regardless of what we ask for…He does want to hear from each one of us. He loves us each individually. He knows each one of our needs and I truly felt that HE was right there in that moment with me. 🕊️ I felt that I was able to witness the provision given to that little bird, I felt peace in knowing that He will provide for each one of us individually. ❤️

As I was watching this little bird not having everything planned out, not able to store up for every possible future worry. This little bird is seen by the Lord and provided for. I also noticed that this little bird seemed to look up as if he was thankful for the provision that he had received. It was a beautiful experience for me to see scripture come into life like that.

I also love how the Lord says that we are of more value than the little birds? If He already has this immense love for these little animals and is able to provide daily food for them. How much more, then, does He see you?? How much more does He want to provide for you and help you? 🥹❤️ Placing our trust in Him can change how see everything.

So, remember that in the middle of your busy days, your worries, your unknowns, God is not distant. He is present, right here, in this very moment. Whether you’re standing on a “mountaintop” in life or walking through a valley, you are not forgotten. You are not overlooked. You are known, loved, and guided.❤️

Sometimes we have moments when we feel like we have to carry everything ourselves. The stress, the planning, the pressure. But this scriptures gently reminds us that we were never meant to do life alone. God provides not always by removing challenges, but by strengthening us through them. Through Jesus Christ, we are not only carried, we are empowered. We can remind ourselves “I can do all things through Christ which strengtheneth me.”

So when life feels uncertain, remember: the same God who watches over the smallest bird is watching over you with even greater care. 💖

Here’s a little mindfulness exercise that can help.

Find a quiet moment. Sit comfortably and gently close your eyes.

• Take a slow breath in through your nose… and out through your mouth.

• Again, breathe in… and out.

• As you breathe, imagine that the Lord is here with you in this moment. Let yourself feel His peace, love and support. Know that you are guided and provided by His divine light.

You could say to yourself “I am seen by my loving Savior, I am provided for. I am strengthened through Christ.”

Let any tension soften. Let your shoulders drop. Let your heart feel just a little lighter.

When you’re ready, open your eyes.

Our goal for the week are:

• Physical Goal:
Take care of your body as a gift from God. Move it daily, even if it’s just a 10–15 minute walk outside. As you move, notice nature around you, the sky, the trees, even the birds, 😉 and remember this message.

• Spiritual Goal:
Each day, take one minute to pause and talk to God. It doesn’t have to be long or perfect. Just open your heart to Him and be honest. Thank Him for one thing, and place one worry into His hands. Listen for any inspiration, wisdom and guidance. Wrote it down and do your best to TRUST. To let go of your fears and focus on FAITH INSTEAD. 💖

I pray that you’ll know today, that you’re cared for more deeply than you realize. And that with Christ, you have the strength to face whatever comes next. We walk by Faith & not by Fear. 💛🥰🙏🏼

Hope that you can make it to class tonight at 7pm to not only release stress but also strengthen yourself physically, mentally and spiritually. 💖

Love you all and hope to see you there! 🥰

💖
