Look For The Sunlight ☀️

Last week in class, I had a beautiful experience. I had come prepared to give a meditation in class that I thought would be fitting for that night. But as soon as I was about to start, I noticed that I couldn’t say the words that I had planned.

Instead, I noticed an image coming to my mind in which I saw clouds covering the sky above me. At that moment, the thought also came to me that those clouds are like our thoughts. I knew at that moment that God wanted me to share this image with the class and I was grateful for what He was allowing me to see. ☁️ I began describing what the image looked like. The sky was dark, clouds covering everything in my view and I asked the women in class to see those dark clouds as their negative thoughts and notice each one of them for a moment.

Have you noticed how many of your thoughts are negative? How many of those thoughts cover the sky of your mind daily and even hourly? All the comparisons, judgments, feelings of inadequacy, sadness, fears, unhappiness etc? Have you noticed how the world around us is constantly focused of pessimism on negativity, on darkness? 🙁 & Can you feel that world creeping into your mind, heart and thoughts constantly?

As humans we’re basically wired to focus on threats because bad things require our immediate attention and sadly, the negative thoughts stick to our minds more than the positive thoughts. That’s why we have to practice learning how to protect ourselves and check our thoughts a little more often. ✅❌

In the meditation I did in class last week, I asked them to notice the clouds, to see the negative thoughts and look a little beyond that to see the light behind the clouds peeking through. ⛅️ I asked them to focus on that light until the clouds of their minds began to clear completely and all they could see and feel was the sun! ☀️

I told them that the sun is the light of Christ! 💛 His light is able to penetrate any clouds of our mind. His light is able to touch every part of our lives if we allow it to do so. We can invite the light of Christ to bring His light to that very thought that we may be struggling with. To ask the Lord to help us to heal that thought and to help it go away so that we may focus on His light and Love instead. ❤️

Romans 12:2 says 2 Do not conform to the pattern of this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind. Then you will be able to test and approve what God’s will is. His good, pleasing and perfect will.💛

Our amazing and powerful minds are given to us so that we may learn how to manage them, protect and nourish them. We do have the ability to control what we think about, and those thoughts affect all of the areas of our lives.

For example; notice how you feel when your thoughts are pessimistic and how that trickles to other areas of your life. Also, take a moment to notice the difference, when your thoughts are filled with light, the moments when you choose to TRUST GOD instead of believing the lies of the world. Think of the moments when you’ve been compassionate toward those who have hurt you, when you’ve felt peace and true joy and how those thoughts also affect you life, your energy and your surroundings. 🥰💛

This week I had a few opportunities to be in rooms filled with people, the thought ame to my mind as I looked around the room, that all of us have our own clouds we’re dealing with. 😔☁️ You may think someone is rude, when in reality the clouds of their minds are really just covering their mind during those moments. It doesn’t matter how wealthy we are, how beautiful, how powerful or popular we are…

There are people whose mental skies are covered in clouds of comparison, dissatisfaction, they’re focused on the negative and they’re unable to see past those clouds. 🙁 That’s when we need to remember to rise above our own clouds 🌤️and be compassionate toward others. Reach out in love and not judge the clouds they may be experiencing. As we learn to manage our own thoughts we’re able to reach out in love to others and help them with their own clouds as well. 💛

Today I would like to invite you to look for the light of the sun in the sky of your mind. ☀️ Clear the negative thoughts and focus instead on practicing and exercising your mind, heart and soul to focus instead on the light! Let the Lord become your teacher. Let Him help you let go of your negative thoughts and allow yourself to focus on seeing and feeling the light in your life more and more! 🤩 After all, this is your life and you get to choose what you want to focus on. 💪🏼🥰💛

Remember that your Father in Heaven gave you this mind for you to learn to manage it. He wants to remind you that light overcomes darkness. Light fills your heart with true joy and happiness. So, focus on the light! Focus in the good! Focus on Christ and notice how this will clear your mind and heart and allow you to live a happier more fulfilling life than anything else that the world can offer. 🥰 There’s nothing better than having a joyful and peaceful soul. & it all starts with your thoughts and what you guide your mind to focus on and to see. ❤️

There’s a beautiful scripture in Philippians 4:8

Which says; Finally, brothers and sisters, whatever is true, whatever is noble, whatever is right, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely, whatever is admirable, if anything is excellent or praiseworthy, think about such things.

Let’s make it our goal to think about what is good, loving, kind, pure. Let’s stop listening to all of the pessimism of the news and the world around us. Lets focus instead on the beauty that surrounds us. On the light of Christ and on the light that we can be to others. We can focus on helping our friends and families to clear the dark clouds of their minds as well. 🥰🌤️💛 God will see what’s in our heart and He will bless us for our efforts to focus on the good and notice the light more and more.

Our spiritual goal for the week is to; Focus on the sunshine no matter how dark the days, the thoughts or the circumstances may feel…Ask the Lord to help you see the light and He will be there to help you see it, feel it and transform you heart and mind. 🙏🏼💛

Our physical goal for the week is to bring light to our physical body as well by choosing good food and daily movement to help us feel recharged and energized. 💪🏼

God Of Miracles 💛

Sometimes in life we become so focused on what we are still waiting for that we forget to remember all that God has already done for us. We pray for answers, direction, healing, peace, or miracles, and when things feel uncertain it can be easy to think that He is silent. But if we pause for a moment and look back, we will often see that His hand has been present all along throughout the ups and downs of our life.

If we think back on our life’s challenges, there were moments when we thought we would not make it through, yet somehow we did. There were doors that opened unexpectedly, burdens that became lighter, strength that came at the exact moment we needed it, and blessings that could not have happened without divine help. Sometimes God’s miracles are dramatic and amazing, and I’m so thankful for the miracles I’ve clearly seen in my life. But sometimes miracles quiet and not as noticeable. Maybe it can be a feeling of peace, the right person showing up at the perfect time, protection we did not even realize we needed, or the courage to take one more step forward.

This week I read in Joshua 1: where the Lord says “Be strong and of good courage” and I thought about how that ties to us. I realized that we can be strong when we rely on the Lord. When we realize and REMEMBER the type of God that He is. How loving, kind, forgiving and amazing He is. We can be courageous in the Lord when we remember that even though we experience fear we still trust a God that is greater than our fears. A God of miracles. & that we ourselves can experience miracles in our lives today if we choose to see them. 💛

I love to remind myself that God is still a God of miracles. The same God who parted seas, healed the sick, comforted the brokenhearted, and strengthened ordinary people throughout the scriptures, is the same God who walks beside each one of us today. His power has not disappeared. His love has not changed. And His awareness of us is constant.

One of the hardest things to do is trust Him when we cannot yet see the outcome. We want clarity before faith, certainty before obedience, and answers before patience. But faith often means moving forward before everything else makes sense. It means believing that God can see what we cannot. My husband calls it Faithing it! 😉 We gottta Faith it and let the Lord do what He can for us. 💪🏼🥰❤️

As we trust Him, He will guide our path. Some doors will open perfectly and clearly, while others will close no matter how hard we try to force them. Sometimes we forget to see that the closed doors are just as much a blessing as the open ones. God does not withhold good things from us to punish us, He guides us according to His greater wisdom and a deeper love than we can fully comprehend.

Proverbs 3:5–6 says: “Trust in the Lord with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding. In all thy ways acknowledge him, and he shall direct thy paths.”

I think one of the greatest spiritual habits we can develop is remembering. Remembering the prayers He answered before. Remembering the times He carried us. Remembering how He provided when we saw no way forward. I’ll never forget the words of a dear friend of mine who always says; “Gods fingerprints are all around you. Look for the daily fingerprints in your life and it will change your world.” 🤩 Gratitude strengthens our faith because when we remember His faithfulness in the past, it becomes easier to trust Him with the future. ❤️

If you feel that you are in a season of waiting, do not lose hope. If you are praying for something that feels impossible, faith it! 😉 & keep believing. God still works in ways we cannot always see yet. Sometimes miracles happen suddenly, and sometimes they unfold little by little over time. But His timing is never wasted and all that happens will be for our good. 💖

This week, instead of focusing only on what is missing, try focusing on what God has already done. Let your heart notice the evidence of His goodness! See the fingerprints, notice the little and bigger miracles in both the big and small moments of life. For example look at the sunrise, notice the peace that you after prayer, the strength that you receive to keep going, the kindness of others, the opportunities that appeared unexpectedly, the friend that listened to you or the hug that you received…all of the these are reminders that Heaven is closer than we think.

Psalm 46:10 “Be still, and know that I am God.” I love the reminder from God that even when life circumstances feel hard, I can still choose to be still and KNOW or “Remember”the type of AMAZING GOD THAT HE IS. ❤️

Take a moment and find a quiet place for a few minutes each day this week. Sit comfortably, close your eyes, and take slow deep breaths. As you inhale, think:

“The Lord is with me.”

As you exhale, think:

“I can trust Him.”

Then gently reflect on moments in your life where you felt guided, protected, comforted, or blessed. Picture those memories clearly. Allow gratitude to fill your mind instead of fear or worry. End your quiet time by simply saying a little prayer of gratitude for all the moments He’s been there and for the moments you’ll see today.

Our Physical Goal for the Week is:

To take a daily 15-minute walk outside without music or distractions. Use that time to slow down, notice the beauty around you, and thank your father in Heaven for specific blessings in your life. Let your walk become a moment of peace, reflection, and connection with Him. 💖

Our Spiritual Goal for the Week:

Keep a small “God’s hand in my life” journal this week. Each night, write down at least one way you saw God’s love, guidance, help, or blessing during the day or his fingerprints, 😉 even if it seems small. By the end of the week, you may begin to recognize that miracles are happening around you more often than you realized.

Hope that you can make it to class tonight to release stress, strengthen yourself and leave feeling uplifted and peaceful. Love you all and hope to see you tonight at 7pm. 🥰💖🤗

Let Not Your Heart Be Troubled🩵

We all experience times of disappointment or when things don’t work out as we had planned. Oftentimes one of the greatest sources of pain is not what actually happened… but what we expected would happen.

We expect people to understand us, support us, include us, comfort us, respond the right way, or love us the way we love them. We expect circumstances to work out perfectly and prayers to be answered quickly. And when those expectations are unmet, our peace can begin to fail, unravel and we can feel disappointed and sad.

It’s important to know that we can all acknowledge and take a moment to mourn the things that maybe didn’t work out the way we had hoped or planned. Life teaches us different lessons, and it’s important for us to be ok with mourning the losses…but at the same time we also need to be open to learning, growing and coming to God to receive His wisdom on how to react to the circumstances we may be facing.

The Savior taught us something beautiful in John chapter 14. This is when Jesus is speaking to His disciples during a deeply uncertain and emotional moment. He knew they were afraid. He knew things would not unfold the way they had hoped. And yet He lovingly told them:

“Let not your heart be troubled: ye believe in God, believe also in me.” John 14:1

I love that reminder! The reason I’m writing this message, is because I had an experience this week with “expectations” not going the way I had planned. I found myself “mourning” what I had hoped would happen. But I made a choice to get on my knees and pray. I asked God to help me process my emotions and I love what He did for me after praying.

I felt the Lord speak to my heart and He told me to look at the scriptures on my nightstand and just open them. When I happened to open to John 14 and I began reading. I could feel that the lord was speaking directly to me! 🥹 He told me to “not let my heart be troubled by those things”. He told me to BELIEVE IN GOD AND BELIEVE IN HIM! In my Savior Jesus Christ who had just answered another one of my prayers. I felt so grateful for that. 😭💖

He didn’t tell me anything about my circumstances changing. In fact, nothing had changed at that moment. But I realized that there was absolute power in the words of Christ. I could allow the circumstances to get to me and bring me down. OR, I could allow myself to believe in the Savior! In His wisdom for my life and the plan that He has for me. I could put my trust in God more than I trust in people, finances, health, circumstances or anything else that I put above God.

I felt strongly and I actually told my kids that Jesus Christ is the BEST THERAPIST IN THE WORLD!! 😝🌎 I came to Him when I needed Him and He spoke directly to my heart at the moment when I needed Him to. By inviting me to read John 14: 13-14 Where He says;

13. “And whatsoever ye shall ask in my name⁠, that will I do, that the Father may be glorified in the Son.

14 If ye shall ask any thing in my name, I will do it.”

Those words are exactly what I needed to hear! I came to Him and asked Him to help me process my emotions and calm my heart and after reading that I asked! believing that Jesus Christ could do that for me, and He did!!! I instantly felt my mind calming down. My thoughts stopped worrying me and taking over my mind and heart with that heaviness…My heart became peaceful and I realized that I was actually receiving this directly from God! My circumstances didn’t change, but He changed ME! He calmed my mind and heart. & that’s what I needed. ❤️❤️❤️

He invites all of us to TRUST HIM. Life won’t be perfect or the way we hope sometimes. But He is ready to help us through it and heal our troubled hearts. He is truly the only one who can provide the peace that is impossible to get through any other means. No amount of money, power, health, prosperity or whatever can provide the peace of God.

🕊️I learned a lesson this week; and it’s that a lot of our own emotional exhaustion comes from unconsciously handing our “inner peace” over to things we can’t control! 😳

I realized that that’s exactly what I did this week. I handed over my emotions to circumstances or people. 🤦🏻‍♀️ Instead of protecting my inner peace, controlling my emotions better and most importantly coming to the BEST THERAPIST! 😉 JESUS CHRIST to allow Him to speak to my heart and guide my mind and heart to what I call “divine calm.” I call it that, because the world can’t understand what that feels like. But when God can calm your heart, and mind…you know what that feels like, and it is divine, beautiful and a solid peace that is not found anywhere else. 💛

So, let’s recognize how we hand over our emotions based on

• another person’s choices

• other people’s opinions

• outcomes

• timing

• plans

• disappointments

• unmet hopes

When we build our emotional stability on changing circumstances, our hearts rise and fall constantly. & there’s no peace in that. 😣

But Jesus Christ offers a steadier foundation. 💪🏼🥰The Savior never promised a life free of disappointment. But He did promise HIS PRESENCE TO BE WITH US IN THE CIRCUMSTANCES! 🥹 & isn’t that amazing?!?

I hope that we can have the eyes to see, recognize and enjoy the ABUNDANCE of God’s love when we can feel Him be so present in our lives. From the little daily blessings, to the moments when prayers are answered…He truly is there and we are so richly blessed by those experiences. I don’t think we recognize how blessed we are most of the time. Being RICH in God, is definitely way better and more fulfilling than being rich in the ways of the world. $🤷🏻‍♀️

So, no matter what you’re going through today. Remember that you don’t have to hand over your emotions to circumstances or people etc. You can control and protect your feelings and emotions. You can come to God and BELIEVE IN HIM! Believe in what only HE can provide to your heart and mind.

This is what He tells you today; 🥹

“Peace I leave with you, my peace I give unto you: not as the world giveth, give I unto you. Let not your heart be troubled, neither let it be afraid.” 💛John 14:27

The world’s peace says:

“I’ll be okay when everyone else changes.”

Christ’s peace says:

“You can still be okay even while things remain unfinished, uncertain, or imperfect.”❤️🥹🙏🏼

How beautiful is that?!? That Christ can be with us in this very imperfect and possibly disappointing moment, and yet we can be FILLED with His peace and His love. Which is really all we need for today. 🥹🤍🙏🏼

That kind of peace is deeply beautiful and spiritual. I hope that each one of us can come to God ourselves and ask Him for it. He promised that we could ask in the name of Jesus Christ, and we will receive! That the father may be glorified in the Son. 🥹 He wants to hear us! Help us and experience for ourselves what having true faith in Christ is really about. We just need to believe, ask and act.

As we choose to come to Him we will see that our Savior can allow us to surrender the illusion that we must control everything around us in order to feel safe inside ourselves.

Sometimes healing begins when we stop asking:

“Why didn’t this person or circumstances meet my expectations?”….

And instead ask:

“How can I stay connected to Christ regardless of what happens around me?” 🥹❤️🙏🏼

I hope that you know that Jesus Christ is the only completely steady source of love, truth, comfort, and understanding throughout your life. When People, even good people, things, situations or circumstances fail us or shift. Or when plans collapse, just know that Christ truly is the one that remains constant regardless of the ups and downs of life.

He understands every disappointment that we carry quietly in our hearts. He knows the grief of feeling unseen, let down, forgotten, or emotionally overwhelmed. And unlike the world, He never withdraws His love when we are struggling. The more we anchor ourselves in Him, the less power circumstances have over our emotional state. ⚓️😌

Not because our feelings don’t matter. But because His presence becomes greater than the storms we may be facing.

So, we must remember to stop placing the weight of our peace into human hands or circumstances. Instead I invite each one of us to place it into the hands of our Savior Jesus Christ instead. 🤲🏼❤️

He is not asking us to pretend that things do not hurt. He is asking us to remember that hurt does not have to own you. 🙂 That you can do all things through Christ who strengthens you and that all will be ok as you allow Him to be with you from one moment to the next.

Our meditation tonight in class will be similar to this. I want to share it on here in case many of your aren’t able to make it to class or for when you need to read it or practice it yourselves.

Close your eyes for a moment and take a slow breath in.

Unclench your jaw. Relax your shoulders. Let your hands rest softly.

Take some deep breaths and calm your mind and heart.

When you feel at peace, imagine yourself placing every unmet expectation into the Savior’s hands:

the conversations that hurt,

the plans that failed,

the loneliness,

the frustration,

the longing for things to be different.

Picture Him receiving it all with complete understanding and perfect compassion.

Breathe again.

As you exhale, quietly repeat:

“Lord, I trust Thee more than I trust my circumstances.”

Sit in that stillness for a moment.

Let your nervous system remember that peace is possible even before everything is resolved.

Out physical goal for the week is:

Spend at least 20 minutes each day moving your body gently. For example; walking outside, stretching, lifting weights, or breathing deeply in the sunlight. Let movement become a reminder that your body was created to carry peace, not just stress.

& our spiritual goal for the week is:

To read John chapter 14 slowly this week. Maybe each day, choose one verse to focus on and ask:

“What is the Savior teaching me about trust, peace, and fear?”

Write down one thing each day that you are choosing to release into Christ’s hands.

& remind yourself that true healing doesn’t come from finally being able to control life, people or circumstances. It comes from learning that even in uncertainty, we are safely held by the Savior of the world. 🌎 or the BEST therapist in the world 😉❤️🙏🏼

Love you all and hope that you can make it tonight to release stress and strengthen yourself and also to release what feels heavy. Hope that you can give yourself this gift today and invite others to benefit as well. 🥰

Provision ❤️

This week I was sitting outside praying for a moment. I was thinking about how God must feel to hear my repetitive prayers, almost always asking for the same things. He hears my complaints and all of the things that are in my mind and heart. As i sat there for a moment I had a feeling of wanting to change my “asking” for “thanking” instead. I said a thank you prayer and had this strong feeling in my heart filling me with His love. I heard/felt Him say to me that He loves me and wants to hear all of the feelings of my heart. My prayers, my sorrows, my fears, my joys, my gratitude. 🥹💖

Why is that we sometimes worry so much about things instead of letting go of the fears and focusing instead on trusting in that loving God who loves us and wants to help us and provide for us? 💛 As soon as I had that feeling I opened my scriptures randomly and read this: Mathew 6:26: “Look at the birds of the air; they do not sow or reap or store away in barns, and yet your heavenly Father feeds them. Are you not much more valuable than they?

After reading that scripture I happened looked down at the grass and saw a little bird landing on the grass next to me. This tiny little brown bird just started eating some sort of little seeds that he found on the grass from of me. I just watched at how this little bird was eating and how it would look up toward the sky and I instantly started crying 😭 not only because I’m emotional lol..but because I felt like God was right there with ME in that very moment just teaching me. 🥹❤️🕊️

In that moment I noticed how the Lord had just provided for this little bird. He was teaching me that regardless of what we ask for…He does want to hear from each one of us. He loves us each individually. He knows each one of our needs and I truly felt that HE was right there in that moment with me. 🕊️ I felt that I was able to witness the provision given to that little bird, I felt peace in knowing that He will provide for each one of us individually. ❤️

As I was watching this little bird not having everything planned out, not able to store up for every possible future worry. This little bird is seen by the Lord and provided for. I also noticed that this little bird seemed to look up as if he was thankful for the provision that he had received. It was a beautiful experience for me to see scripture come into life like that.

I also love how the Lord says that we are of more value than the little birds? If He already has this immense love for these little animals and is able to provide daily food for them. How much more, then, does He see you?? How much more does He want to provide for you and help you? 🥹❤️ Placing our trust in Him can change how see everything.

So, remember that in the middle of your busy days, your worries, your unknowns, God is not distant. He is present, right here, in this very moment. Whether you’re standing on a “mountaintop” in life or walking through a valley, you are not forgotten. You are not overlooked. You are known, loved, and guided.❤️

Sometimes we have moments when we feel like we have to carry everything ourselves. The stress, the planning, the pressure. But this scriptures gently reminds us that we were never meant to do life alone. God provides not always by removing challenges, but by strengthening us through them. Through Jesus Christ, we are not only carried, we are empowered. We can remind ourselves “I can do all things through Christ which strengtheneth me.”

So when life feels uncertain, remember: the same God who watches over the smallest bird is watching over you with even greater care. 💖

Here’s a little mindfulness exercise that can help.

Find a quiet moment. Sit comfortably and gently close your eyes.

• Take a slow breath in through your nose… and out through your mouth.

• Again, breathe in… and out.

• As you breathe, imagine that the Lord is here with you in this moment. Let yourself feel His peace, love and support. Know that you are guided and provided by His divine light.

You could say to yourself “I am seen by my loving Savior, I am provided for. I am strengthened through Christ.”

Let any tension soften. Let your shoulders drop. Let your heart feel just a little lighter.

When you’re ready, open your eyes.

Our goal for the week are:

• Physical Goal:
Take care of your body as a gift from God. Move it daily, even if it’s just a 10–15 minute walk outside. As you move, notice nature around you, the sky, the trees, even the birds, 😉 and remember this message.

• Spiritual Goal:
Each day, take one minute to pause and talk to God. It doesn’t have to be long or perfect. Just open your heart to Him and be honest. Thank Him for one thing, and place one worry into His hands. Listen for any inspiration, wisdom and guidance. Wrote it down and do your best to TRUST. To let go of your fears and focus on FAITH INSTEAD. 💖

I pray that you’ll know today, that you’re cared for more deeply than you realize. And that with Christ, you have the strength to face whatever comes next. We walk by Faith & not by Fear. 💛🥰🙏🏼

Hope that you can make it to class tonight at 7pm to not only release stress but also strengthen yourself physically, mentally and spiritually. 💖
