Inner Peace Keeper šŸ’›

With everything going on in our world, and the different challenges that we all face, It’s easy to allow the chaos of it all to increase and cause greater emotional stress, fear and anxiety.

We see that not only is our peace constantly being affected, but new research has also shown that our levels of addictions or the ways in which we choose to numb our emotions is also increasing. Have you noticed that the world as a whole is having a harder time controlling their feelings, thoughts and emotions? People can’t seem to control themselves. Sadly, we’re becoming a society that’s more disconnected, divided and addicted. Numbing our emotional stress with outside sources and completely forgetting how to stop, breathe and silence our minds and hearts.

Think about what we tend to resort to ā€œto help us feel better,ā€ we often times reach for food, our phones, TV, entertainment, shopping, posting on social media in search for compliments or validation, we reach for substances, gossiping and many other activities that seem harmless at first. But, but little by little become the ways in which we buffer our emotions. These types of activities tie us down to being controlled by them. We loose our ability to genuinely regulate our inner peace, based on the power that we have and our ability to ask God to help us.

When we can acknowledge the ways in which we’re becoming more dependent on outside sources to bring us inner peace, we can take a good look at those things and start to work on them. Most of the time we don’t even realize how much we’re allowing those things to control our emotional state. Or how we’re ā€œnumbing the discomfortsā€ of life, which little by little begin to dim our inner peace more and more. Remember that the world, and the enemy of your soul will always push for you to become dependent on outside sources. So that you may become a ā€œslaveā€ to those things. The enemy will even lie to you and tell you that it’s too uncomfortable to sit with your feelings. That you can’t look within yourself etc…But that’s how he ties us to more material things and keeps us away from God. The enemy knows that if he can keep us distracted, unable to process our feelings and definitely doing everything in his power to prevent us from speaking or communicating with God. Then, that’s how he wins. Making us miserable like himself.

God, our Father in Heaven, on the other hand wants us to be able to rise above that. To CHOOSE FOR OURSELVES to turn to God for the help we need. He wants us to create within ourselves that strong desire that we may know that WE ARE HIS CHILDREN. & that as such, WE HAVE ACCESS TO DIVINE POWER, LIGHT AND GREATER PEACE. He wants us to know that we don’t need to depend on anything material or of this world to bring us the peace that we seek. But to know instead, that God is the giver of our peace. That He can provide that peace abundantly even admits the storms of life. So that when the rains come and the waters rise during our storms, we may be able to know in whom we trust and remain peaceful and faithful.

This week I want to motivate you and encourage you to push past the discomfort & take a deeper look within yourself. Remember that this will most likely not feel very comfortable at first, and you may be tempted to grab your phone or turn on the TV, or call a friend to gossip or whatever else you try to do to get out of fully sitting for a moment and just feeling your feelings and emotions.

The goal is to practice when you’re triggered by something, šŸ’› to just take a moment to close your eyes, cover your ears, breathe and feel within yourself what’s going on. Take a moment to see your feelings and thoughts clearly. If it’s possible, see them from a distance so that they’re not fully ā€œ thoughts that are attached to you.ā€ But then, take a moment to invite divine light and ask God to be with you. To give you His LOVE, His STRENGTH, and His PEACE to remove those feelings. Then allow yourself to FEEL THAT AMAZING POWER FLOWING FROM GOD INTO YOUR HEART, MIND AND SOUL. Remember that nothing in the world can compare to that feeling of knowing that something comes directly from God to you. ā¤ļø & If you’d like to record your feelings or write down any wisdom that God places in your heart. Then, that will be a blessing to you as you go and act in what He tells you. The more willing you are to receiving, the more you’ll gain.

Also, take a moment if you can to acknowledge the things that you honestly know that you use to ā€œnumbā€ your emotional discomfort. Think about what comes up for you. Ask yourself what are some of the things that steal my peace? Think about what you do when you’re angry or stressed. Do you reach for your phone or food or something else when you’re uncomfortable or stressed out? Do those things bring you lasting peace? Or how do they leave you feeling afterwards? These are all questions that we rarely ask ourselves. But it’s important that we get to know ourselves in this life and the WE BECOME OUR OWN BEST FRIEND! OUR OWN BEST CHEERLEADER AND OUR OWN PROTECTOR OF OUR PEACE. When we can notice and recognize what happens internally, we will be better able to PRACTICE inviting more of the good to be with us and it will become easier to reject the negativity and all that is bad for our minds, hearts and souls.

So, take a moment to practice breathing, to check on your emotions and to change them for the better. Give yourself love, compassion and be proud of your ability to look inward without the need of outside sources to allow you to check in with yourself. To feel the emotions, to reach to God who is the true giver of lasting peace and allow Him to help you clear the internal chaos & RETURN TO PEACE OFTEN.šŸ’›

Set a goal for yourself this week that you will be your inner peace keeper. Try to allow the quiet moments you have to connect to that higher source of peace and love which comes from God. Ask Him to help you focus on your internal light and peace instead of what the world wants you to focus on. Find strength in your ability to practice this & notice how it will change everything for you and the way in which you view yourself and your ability to retain your peace. As you practice this skill, it will increase your inner power day by day. You’ve got this! The choice is yours.

Remember that God invites each of us to fully place our trust on HIM. He is the prince of peace, who invites our souls to receive true, long lasting and eternal peace.

John 14:27 Says: ā€œPeace I leave with you, my peace I give unto you: not as the world giveth, give I unto you. Let not your heart be troubled, neither let it be afraid.ā€ā¤ļø

God wants us to rely on Him so that we may not be troubled or afraid. Whatever is troubling you today, Whatever is bringing you fear or frustration….Take a moment to sit with those feelings and if possible view them from a distance. Recognizing each emotion and how it presents in your body. For example; ā€œThis is anger, my chest or throat feel tight..etcā€ ā€œI want to release this emotion and allow myself to come to peace & calmā€ Invite peace to be with you. Breathe into those areas of stress until fully calm.

Remember also to allow yourself to speak to God as you release those feelings and allow Him to take them from you. He will remove those emotions and replace your thoughts with what a loving God would tell you. Allowing yourself to invite His peace and love to renew you and to recharge your heart and soul is the most amazing therapy that you can give to yourself. So, trust Him. He is the king of peace, the giver of all that is good. The creator of Love and light. There’s nothing greater on this earth than being able to experience the peace that can only come from a loving God. He will strengthen you, help you and lift you every single day and hour of your life. ā¤ļø I pray that you’ll be able to feel His peace and allow yourself to be the KEEPER AND THE PROTECTOR OF YOUR PEACE.

This is our Spiritual goal this week is: To gain greater inner peace. šŸ’ŖšŸ¼šŸ’› To be the KEEPER OF OUR PEACE! The PROTECTOR or our peace who doesn’t depend on material things to help us feel better. But instead that we may have the wisdom to know where true peace comes from. To lean on our ability to invite silence and inner peace to this very moment. Saying to ourselves ā€œ I choose this hour to keep my peace centered on a God who sees me, who hears me, who loves me and who wants to help me. I am the protector of my inner peace and I choose light, love and peace to be with me surround me on this day.ā€ ā¤ļø

Our Physical goals is to exercise at least 2-3 times this week and to give our body more water and healthy nutrient rich foods. ā¤ļø

Class is canceled tonight. But we will see each other again next week. Love you all and do your best to take care of yourself physically, mentally and spiritually. šŸ’–

Be Still šŸ’›

Our lives can be either driven by our schedules or by spirit. They can be driven by the constant chatter of our minds or by a place of calm. They can be driven by impulse or by wisdom.

Precious, sacred silence is one of our most essential friends. Our silent time reminds us of who we are and it gives us access to amazing wisdom from which we are guided when making our daily decisions. So why is it so difficult to write it on today’s schedule? Why is it so hard to make time to be still?

Many of us now have a spiritual practice during which we pray for assistance, read the word of God, meditate, focus on gratitude or find ways to inspire our heart. But as we know, the world pulls ferociously in different directions. It begs us to pay attention, to divide our time, to finish tasks, to distract our focus and to be busier than it’s good for our souls.

It takes a mindful effort and awareness to revisit our priorities often, and make the time to connect with our spirit and most importantly, with God our Father. Truly, having this time is the most important thing we will do in the day. When we can set the time to do this first in our day, the rest of the day is driven by moments of intuition gained from connecting mindfully with the source of all love, peace and light.

This is not a duty or an effort. We don’t work to be more spiritually connected; it is who we are. This desire to connect is already within us. All we have to do is set aside time to check in and to let the noise drop away for long enough to reveal the beauty and calm that resides within us. And if we can just hover there…open… For a moment without jumping in with a thought, within that stillness, is when we’re able to activate our soul’s wisdom and when we will be able to hear directly from God. ā™„ļø

Having a time during the day to calm the mind and still the soul can be a challenging practice. But that is one of those things that will have lasting consequences in our lives. We deserve to create moments of internal peace for ourselves. Moments to gain higher intuition and guidance. The rewards of doing this for ourselves will reach across all aspects of our being. Every day is a good day to begin learning or to practice praying with a sincere heart and having a moment of stillness to just listen and connect to the divine.

This week I’ve had a lot on my to do list. But I’ve made it a point to set aside time to be with God. To connect to my source of peace, to open my heart to Him and to just listen. I can’t tell you the amazing words that my soul, mind and heart were filled with. Words of love, encouragement, kindness and peace. I felt all of my worries and stresses completely leave my mind, because I was able to personally feel the Savior directly speaking to me.

I felt His presence. I heard in my heart and mind Him telling me that there’s nothing greater in this world and in this life than the ability or the gift to be able to come to KNOW CHRIST. ā™„ļø To be able to be a WITNESS of CHRIST. 😭

That experience, took everything that I was ā€œpraying for or worried aboutā€ completely away from me. In that instant, all of the fears left my soul. I felt completely still and at peace with God. I knew what I heard, what I felt, and I clearly saw in my mind that Jesus Christ was with me in that moment. No amount of money, power, status, popularity, or whatever else we are attached to on this earth, matters more than COMING TO KNOW CHRIST.

I want to testify to all of you, that when we truly have the desire to come to God, we can find Him in stillness. If we make the time for Him, He will quiet our minds and souls and we will be able to hear directly from Him! šŸ˜ There’s nothing more amazing than hearing directly from the source. šŸ’›He wants to guide us, help us, give us peace, un attach us from the things that keep us stuck in this world. He wants us to come to know Him and to see and experience for ourselves how amazing this loving God is. He has a plan for each one of us and He is fully aware of all that we have in our hearts and minds.

I invite you to come to Him and experience opening your heart, mind and soul to God. Ask Him to help you find stillness in your soul and experience the love and peace of a loving God for yourself. ā™„ļøšŸ„°

Our goal for this week is to create more peaceful moments, to quiet our minds, be still and listen. We can ask for inspiration, breathe and take a moment to write down what we feel. As we’re able to keep those notes throughout the week, we will see that God does speak to us. Directly to our heart ā™„ļø That internal peace is always available to us. Silence and peace can become our new friend. God wants to remind us that we can create moments to be still, to Still our souls and to know that He is God. Invite more of that light and wisdom into your day and you’ll feel the difference.

As we choose to make time for moments of peace and quiet. We will be better able to express our feelings to our Father in Heaven. We will be better able to find peace for our soul, we will be open to allowing the light of Christ to enter more deeply into our lives. Allowing Him to purify and remove our negative thoughts and feelings and instead inviting the healing light of the Savior to cover us completely.

I fully believe that it is part of our earthly experience to come and live in these bodies. So that we may learn to live and take care of them. But also, so that we may LEARN to go within ourselves to find the divine stillness that can only come from the presence of God. From where our spirits were born. We must learn this skill of going within and quieting the mind and the world. To really know that we TRUST GOD. To connect to Him in prayer and in spirit.

As we PRACTICE this skill, we will feel a stronger connection to Heaven. More inspiration and insights will come. We will be better able to handle our problems and we will have more trust and faith in God. We will gain a confidence that is divine and rises above any type of worldly confidence. There’s no degree, no amount of money, Power or no self help courses that can bring the type of confidence and peace that only the spirit of God can provide to our souls.

May we quiet our words, calm our thoughts, soften our hearts and still our souls daily, so that we may listen, be open, have faith and receive. & most importantly, let your spirit lead and remember to BE STILL AND KNOW THAT HE IS GOD.

Make it your goal today to come to class tonight at 7pm! Class will be canceled next week. So, hopefully you can make it today. The hardest thing is always showing up. So, put on your workout clothes as a sign of the promise that you’re making to yourself to be there. Turn your attention away from the world and focus on giving yourself the gift of one hour to yourself tonight. Our meditation will be focused on stillness and allowing God to speak to ourselves. So, come and give yourself the gift of slowing down. You deserve it! ā™„ļø

Remember that God loves you, He wants to hear from you! Make it your priority this week to make quiet moments for Him and to strengthen yourself from within. Notice His hand in your life and thank Him for your many blessings. He will guide you on what to focus on each hour of your day. & don’t forget that you can do all things through Christ who strengthens you. ā™„ļøšŸ„°šŸ™šŸ¼

Reframing Our Thoughts 🌱

Every day, thoughts flow through our minds like a constant stream. Some are uplifting, while others weigh us down. We allow our minds to go back in the past to ā€œre-live itā€ or we think about the future and about what may or may not happen. :/

Our thoughts take a lot of our mental energy, they take our time and influence how we feel and react daily. We often forget that we can actually choose what to think about. We forget to be HERE, right now, instead of allowing our minds to be stuck in past or future thinking. Instead, we can choose to focus on inviting what would be the best thought to have at this very moment. šŸ’›

The scriptures remind us in: Proverbs 23:7, ā€œFor as he thinketh in his heart, so is he,ā€ Our thoughts shape us! So, shouldn’t we try to make our thoughts the best they can be daily?

Philippians 2:5 also says: ā€œLet this mind be in you, which was also in Christ Jesusā€. The Savior invites us to turn to Him when negative or destructive thoughts cloud our hearts. He is the one who can help us replace those thoughts with light and peace. šŸ’–

As much as we want to present and live in the present sometimes our minds just want to bring up all of these thoughts and we have to help ourselves through those moments. I actually had an opportunity to practice that this week. I’m thankful for the wisdom that I gained and I wanted to share it with you. I had a few negative thoughts that kept coming to my mind and I felt like all of these negative feelings would rush right back to my mind all over again šŸ˜– I didn’t like what I was feeling. So, I decided to ask God to help me through it and to be with me during that thought. I asked God to guide me and to help move me away from the negative thoughts. I asked God to teach me instead what im meant to learn from that thought and to help me know what I should focus on instead.

As I was thinking about the Savior being with me during even to the point of seeing the Savior standing next to me in my thoughts…I notices that He was able to guide me to have way MORE LOVE and COMPASSION for myself and for those involved in the thoughts that I was having. I felt my feelings toward the people involved change from negative to now being compassionate, kind and to even extend LOVE to them! Only having God with me in my mind, helping me heal the situation internally was truly amazing and exactly what I needed. šŸ„²

How amazing that God was able to help me change what once was a negative thought, to now becoming a thought that allows me to have more forgiveness, kindness, compassion and even love for those involved and for myself. It’s something that happened in the past, but God is allowing me to HEAL the thoughts in my mind through compassion. & in healing the thoughts, I heal myself. This in turn allowed me to feel more peaceful and calm in the present moment. It reminded me that I can trust that God would help me even in ALL THINGS! Including in my internal struggles and in healing my thoughts, my mind and my heart. šŸ’–

So, take a moment to think about a situation that you would like to fix in your mind. Take some deep breaths and allow God or The Savior Jesus Christ to come and be right there next to you in that thought. What would the Lord tell you about yourself and about the situation? Or what would He tell you about the person involved? What is the message God would want you to learn from this experience? and how can you walk away a better person after having had Christ be involved in this thought? How can He help you heal it? And instead turn it into a thought that is healed.

Doing this exercise allows you to then come back to the present feeling more peaceful and able to now invite more light into your heart and mind at this very moment. Now you can ask yourself ā€œWhat does God want me to feel at this very moment?ā€ šŸ¤ And juts stay there for a minute to really feel what comes to your mind and heart. Continue breathing until you feel fully at peace.

God wants us to remember that we are eternal beings with divine DNA flowing through us…We are pure at the core. When we pause and step back, we see that negative thoughts don’t define us; they are simply passing clouds. With awareness, we can choose not to feed them, but we can choose instead to either let them drift away from us or allow God to be present in that thought and to HELP US HEAL IT! ā¤ļø

How amazing that we can do that for our own minds? The world around us doesn’t even think about this type of insight…..Only those of us who are working on ourselves will find the little bits of divine wisdom that God shares with us and I’m so thankful that God allowed me to have this inspiration that blessed me soooo much this week. I testify that He does provide abundantly for all of us. Enough to even heal our internal minds and thoughts & to make them better for us. šŸ„¹ He truly is a healer and we don’t have to be attached to our negative thoughts.

Like a muscle, šŸ’ŖšŸ¼ we can train our minds and thoughts to be better and more aligned to love, peace, compassion, gratitude and all that is good and that comes from our creator. ā™„ļø

So, let’s make it our practice this week. Instead of getting stuck in thoughts of ā€œI’m not enough, or negative thoughts,ā€ We will choose to shift to ā€œI can do all things through Christ who strengthens meā€ (Philippians 4:13). Instead of thinking ā€œThis situation will never change,ā€ we can reframe it to ā€œGod can work miracles, even in small ways, in His time.ā€

We need to TRUST IN GOD! & in the spirit that leads us to do good! The spirit of Christ whispers truth and peace when we align our thoughts with God: John 14:27 sayas ā€œBut the Comforter, which is the Holy Ghost, whom the Father will send in my name, he shall teach you all things, and bring all things to your remembrance, whatsoever I have said unto you.

27 Peace I leave with you, my peace I give unto you: not as the world giveth, give I unto you. Let not your heart be troubled, neither let it be afraid..ā€

As we invite Christ into our inner dialogue, He doesn’t just silence the darkness—He replaces it with His light, with hope, with peace, with His LOVE and with the reminder of who we really are: beloved children of God.šŸ„¹ā¤ļø

✨ Here’s a Simple Practice/Goal for us this week.

• When a negative thought arises, pause.

• Breathe and say, ā€œChrist, be with me here.ā€

• Reframe the thought into one rooted in truth, love, compassion, peace and possibility.

• Let gratitude fill the space where fear or judgment once lived. And allow God to bring to your mind the best thought to have at this very moment.

With time, we learn that we don’t have to battle our thoughts alone. Christ walks with us, transforming heaviness into peace, fear into faith, and doubt into love.ā¤ļø

Can’t wait to see you tonight at 7pm! To not only release stress but to also do something amazing for our Body, Mind and Spirit. šŸ„¹šŸ’– Please invite anyone who you think would benefit from this class. Tonight our meditation will be all about changing those negative thoughts into positive thoughts instead. šŸ’ŖšŸ¼šŸ„°šŸ’›

Love you all and hope to see you there!

Let Not Your Heart Be Troubled

We all experience times of disappointment or when things don’t work out as we had planned. Oftentimes one of the greatest sources of pain is not what actually happened… but what we expected would happen.

We expect people to understand us, support us, include us, comfort us, respond the right way, or love us the way we love them. We expect circumstances to work out perfectly and prayers to be answered quickly. And when those expectations are unmet, our peace can begin to fail, unravel and we can feel disappointed and sad.

It’s important to know that we can all acknowledge and take a moment to mourn the things that maybe didn’t work out the way we had hoped or planned. Life teaches us different lessons, and it’s important for us to be ok with mourning the losses…but at the same time we also need to be open to learning, growing and coming to God to receive His wisdom on how to react to the circumstances we may be facing.

The Savior taught us something beautiful in John chapter 14. This is when Jesus is speaking to His disciples during a deeply uncertain and emotional moment. He knew they were afraid. He knew things would not unfold the way they had hoped. And yet He lovingly told them:

ā€œLet not your heart be troubled: ye believe in God, believe also in me.ā€ John 14:1

I love that reminder! The reason I’m writing this message, is because I had an experience this week with ā€œexpectationsā€ not going the way I had planned. I found myself ā€œmourningā€ what I had hoped would happen. But I made a choice to get on my knees and pray. I asked God to help me process my emotions and I love what He did for me after praying.

I felt the Lord speak to my heart and He told me to look at the scriptures on my nightstand and just open them. When I happened to open to John 14 and I began reading. I could feel that the lord was speaking directly to me! šŸ„¹ He told me to ā€œnot let my heart be troubled by those thingsā€. He told me to BELIEVE IN GOD AND BELIEVE IN HIM! In my Savior Jesus Christ who had just answered another one of my prayers. I felt so grateful for that. šŸ˜šŸ’–

He didn’t tell me anything about my circumstances changing. In fact, nothing had changed at that moment. But I realized that there was absolute power in the words of Christ. I could allow the circumstances to get to me and bring me down. OR, I could allow myself to believe in the Savior! In His wisdom for my life and the plan that He has for me. I could put my trust in God more than I trust in people, finances, health, circumstances or anything else that I put above God.

I felt strongly and I actually told my kids that Jesus Christ is the BEST THERAPIST IN THE WORLD!! šŸ˜šŸŒŽ I came to Him when I needed Him and He spoke directly to my heart at the moment when I needed Him to. By inviting me to read John 14: 13-14 Where He says;

13. ā€œAnd whatsoever ye shall ask in my name, that will I do, that the Father may be glorified in the Son.

14 If ye shall ask any thing in my name, I will do it.ā€

Those words are exactly what I needed to hear! I came to Him and asked Him to help me process my emotions and calm my heart and after reading that I asked! believing that Jesus Christ could do that for me, and He did!!! I instantly felt my mind calming down. My thoughts stopped worrying me and taking over my mind and heart with that heaviness…My heart became peaceful and I realized that I was actually receiving this directly from God! My circumstances didn’t change, but He changed ME! He calmed my mind and heart. & that’s what I needed. ā¤ļøā¤ļøā¤ļø

He invites all of us to TRUST HIM. Life won’t be perfect or the way we hope sometimes. But He is ready to help us through it and heal our troubled hearts. He is truly the only one who can provide the peace that is impossible to get through any other means. No amount of money, power, health, prosperity or whatever can provide the peace of God.

šŸ•ŠļøI learned a lesson this week; and it’s that a lot of our own emotional exhaustion comes from unconsciously handing our ā€œinner peaceā€ over to things we can’t control! šŸ˜³

I realized that that’s exactly what I did this week. I handed over my emotions to circumstances or people. šŸ¤¦šŸ»ā€ā™€ļø Instead of protecting my inner peace, controlling my emotions better and most importantly coming to the BEST THERAPIST! šŸ˜‰ JESUS CHRIST to allow Him to speak to my heart and guide my mind and heart to what I call ā€œdivine calm.ā€ I call it that, because the world can’t understand what that feels like. But when God can calm your heart, and mind…you know what that feels like, and it is divine, beautiful and a solid peace that is not found anywhere else. šŸ’›

So, let’s recognize how we hand over our emotions based on

• another person’s choices

• other people’s opinions

• outcomes

• timing

• plans

• disappointments

• unmet hopes

When we build our emotional stability on changing circumstances, our hearts rise and fall constantly. & there’s no peace in that. šŸ˜£

But Jesus Christ offers a steadier foundation. šŸ’ŖšŸ¼šŸ„°The Savior never promised a life free of disappointment. But He did promise HIS PRESENCE TO BE WITH US IN THE CIRCUMSTANCES! šŸ„¹ & isn’t that amazing?!?

I hope that we can have the eyes to see, recognize and enjoy the ABUNDANCE of God’s love when we can feel Him be so present in our lives. From the little daily blessings, to the moments when prayers are answered…He truly is there and we are so richly blessed by those experiences. I don’t think we recognize how blessed we are most of the time. Being RICH in God, is definitely way better and more fulfilling than being rich in the ways of the world. $šŸ¤·šŸ»ā€ā™€ļø

So, no matter what you’re going through today. Remember that you don’t have to hand over your emotions to circumstances or people etc. You can control and protect your feelings and emotions. You can come to God and BELIEVE IN HIM! Believe in what only HE can provide to your heart and mind.

This is what He tells you today; šŸ„¹

ā€œPeace I leave with you, my peace I give unto you: not as the world giveth, give I unto you. Let not your heart be troubled, neither let it be afraid.ā€ šŸ’›John 14:27

The world’s peace says:

ā€œI’ll be okay when everyone else changes.ā€

Christ’s peace says:

ā€œYou can still be okay even while things remain unfinished, uncertain, or imperfect.ā€ā¤ļøšŸ„¹šŸ™šŸ¼

How beautiful is that?!? That Christ can be with us in this very imperfect and possibly disappointing moment, and yet we can be FILLED with His peace and His love. Which is really all we need for today. šŸ„¹šŸ¤šŸ™šŸ¼

That kind of peace is deeply beautiful and spiritual. I hope that each one of us can come to God ourselves and ask Him for it. He promised that we could ask in the name of Jesus Christ, and we will receive! That the father may be glorified in the Son. šŸ„¹ He wants to hear us! Help us and experience for ourselves what having true faith in Christ is really about. We just need to believe, ask and act.

As we choose to come to Him we will see that our Savior can allow us to surrender the illusion that we must control everything around us in order to feel safe inside ourselves.

Sometimes healing begins when we stop asking:

ā€œWhy didn’t this person or circumstances meet my expectations?ā€ā€¦.

And instead ask:

ā€œHow can I stay connected to Christ regardless of what happens around me?ā€ šŸ„¹ā¤ļøšŸ™šŸ¼

I hope that you know that Jesus Christ is the only completely steady source of love, truth, comfort, and understanding throughout your life. When People, even good people, things, situations or circumstances fail us or shift. Or when plans collapse, just know that Christ truly is the one that remains constant regardless of the ups and downs of life.

He understands every disappointment that we carry quietly in our hearts. He knows the grief of feeling unseen, let down, forgotten, or emotionally overwhelmed. And unlike the world, He never withdraws His love when we are struggling. The more we anchor ourselves in Him, the less power circumstances have over our emotional state. āš“ļøšŸ˜Œ

Not because our feelings don’t matter. But because His presence becomes greater than the storms we may be facing.

So, we must remember to stop placing the weight of our peace into human hands or circumstances. Instead I invite each one of us to place it into the hands of our Savior Jesus Christ instead. šŸ¤²šŸ¼ā¤ļø

He is not asking us to pretend that things do not hurt. He is asking us to remember that hurt does not have to own you. šŸ™‚ That you can do all things through Christ who strengthens you and that all will be ok as you allow Him to be with you from one moment to the next.

Our meditation tonight in class will be similar to this. I want to share it on here in case many of your aren’t able to make it to class or for when you need to read it or practice it yourselves.

Close your eyes for a moment and take a slow breath in.

Unclench your jaw. Relax your shoulders. Let your hands rest softly.

Take some deep breaths and calm your mind and heart.

When you feel at peace, imagine yourself placing every unmet expectation into the Savior’s hands:

the conversations that hurt,

the plans that failed,

the loneliness,

the frustration,

the longing for things to be different.

Picture Him receiving it all with complete understanding and perfect compassion.

Breathe again.

As you exhale, quietly repeat:

ā€œLord, I trust Thee more than I trust my circumstances.ā€

Sit in that stillness for a moment.

Let your nervous system remember that peace is possible even before everything is resolved.

Out physical goal for the week is:

Spend at least 20 minutes each day moving your body gently. For example; walking outside, stretching, lifting weights, or breathing deeply in the sunlight. Let movement become a reminder that your body was created to carry peace, not just stress.

& our spiritual goal for the week is:

To read John chapter 14 slowly this week. Maybe each day, choose one verse to focus on and ask:

ā€œWhat is the Savior teaching me about trust, peace, and fear?ā€

Write down one thing each day that you are choosing to release into Christ’s hands.

& remind yourself that true healing doesn’t come from finally being able to control life, people or circumstances. It comes from learning that even in uncertainty, we are safely held by the Savior of the world. šŸŒŽ or the BEST therapist in the world šŸ˜‰ā¤ļøšŸ™šŸ¼

Love you all and hope that you can make it tonight to release stress and strengthen yourself and also to release what feels heavy. Hope that you can give yourself this gift today and invite others to benefit as well. 🄰
